| - I feel like their food here would be a 4/5 in my book if only they had things that wouldn't rape my colon.
I can't eat spicy food, and unfortunately this happened to be the only place to get food at the hotel we stayed at for a business trip a few weeks ago. Service was great, no problems there, but damn, everything on the menu was spicy. I get that the name of the place has the word "spice" in it, but for the love of all things holy, think of my colon! :( I thought I'd be safe eating the bread, but no! Even the bread had jalapenos in it......wtf! I did order some wheat beer I liked here (from a local brewery, I think?) and it was pretty good. I ordered the scallops and they were tasty but still gave me some digestive problems even when I asked them to make it as mild as possible.
Overall, I think they'd be a lot more awesome if they had some benign menu options for those of us with sensitive stomachs. Maybe if I grew up eating southwestern food, I wouldn't have that problem, though.
