I always inquire how my Manhattan is made. Up with rye is not just the way I like, it's the way it should be. After Mike came to me on the rocks I should have seen it as the first sign something was up.
I came here on Friday for lunch and was a bit disappointed. I heard such great things, but unfortunately there were several issues. The Manhattan isn't a big deal but the wait time for our beers was a joke. It wasn't packed. The bartender wasn't busy. It was slow service. I was waiting forever.
So the drink was a little bit of a drag, the service wasn't the best, at least the food was going to be amazing right? Ehhh. My salmon bibimbap was excellent. I can't front there. The chicken sandwich though was underwhelming. The Mac and cheese was alright. And the fried pickles were below average.
I came here thinking this would be the one meal we got in Pittsburgh that cost a little more than anything else. It's a fairly inexpensive city compared to New York. Wish we spent our money elsewhere.
