| - I figured for music equipment, Guitar Center would be a good spot to start. There is a wide range of selections of audio, stage, and studio equipment. I was looking for a beginners keyboard, but perhaps that was to amateurish for this store. The store, I guess, caters more for mid-level to professional level of music performance. That part I don't mind. I just needed some help from an employee. Any employee really. There were two male workers who made eye contact with me, but didn't bother to ask if I needed help. They kept to their conversation as what plans they had for the weekend and carrying on. I went up to one of them and asked for help. Seems bothered I interrupted them, but I wanted to know if they carried a certain type of keyboard I saw online. Once we started to talk, he was actually quite knowledgeable and suggested another store that might have what I was looking for.
Overall, Guitar Center is a pretty cool place as they have classes to take on music and even a studio area you can rent out to practice. I would come back, but I think customer engagement could use a little work. However, when do you get help, their knowledge is useful.
