| - This studio is lovely. This was my first foray into hot yoga (I have practiced /regular' yoga for many years), and while I was rather nervous going in, after a few classes at Moksha I am HOOKED!
This studio is welcoming, clean and modern. The change rooms (with hooks, showers, and even hair ties!) are well maintained and spacious enough to accommodate a class coming AND going. For a room the houses sweaty bodies all day, the studio itself is kept clean and even smells pretty good most of the time! Folks at the front (who are sometimes teachers, too!) are friendly and helpful, including the second time that I visited and my scan card didn't work quite right (side bar: scan cards are awesome. You just scan it (like at many gyms) and you're good to go. Love it. And I love having it on my key chain - it reminds me to breathe deeply all day!).
They have everything that you may need to rent (mat, towel, water bottle). There is the coolest water fountain at the end of the hall - turn a light switch and fill your water bottle from a metal statue coming down from the ceiling!!
Prices are on par or a little higher than some studios in town, but they do offer the great 1 month intro offer (1 month unlimited for $40!), which is a superb way to get people hooked - it worked on me!
For me this studio is a little far away, and I really wish there was one like in in the North/downtown (maybe I just haven't found it yet?) ... BUT it's location in a 'strip mall' means free parking, which you sure won't get at some other places. Yay!
