  • I can't even begin to tell you how on point this restaurant is. It would be endless amount of text to read, so let me try to shorten this review. I've known of this restaurant for years, but never eaten here. tonight I finally remembered about it and off we went. First, you wouldn't know this place existed unless you probably heard about it word of mouth. If you follow my reviews, have some extra bucks to spend, treat yourself to this luxury, superb meal. You will not be disappointed. Second, decor. Once you make your way through the smoke filled casino and hundreds of gambling lunatics, you'll find yourself either tip toeing down a small flight if stairs or taking the elevator one short level down to this dim lit, classic feel entrance where you'll be instantly greeted by multiple service people. From there you just wait to be seated. Once you get taken in, you'll enjoy the classic, wooden, dark coat feel the place has, along with clean patrons and great smelling food. you'll walk by a walk in wine cellar that is fully stocked, amongst a sea of tables that aren't on top of each other, I would say perfectly spaced out, then you reach your destination. I would suggest to instantly ask what the market price is for the king crab. it should average between $90-$105 for the 1lb dinner. I had ordered the filet mignon, medium rare, wrapped with bacon. also ordered the spinach artichoke dip...let's get on to the food... first up was wine list. I find myself now looking for some Opus One, which they had 2011 vintage @ $395. Great pairing with dinner, but I wanted 2013 so I passed on the wine. they have a wine handler though that handles any request you might have pertaining to the wine and champagne. pretty awesome. The spinach dip came quickly. real fresh and delicious, pouring over the bowl it was in. the flavor of the dip was great. had a good taste of cheese with the mixture of the artichoke and spinach. very good. next came our table side salad. you choose the ingredients you want on your salad, where it's then tossed in front of you with your choice of dressing. again a perfect salad. reminds me of a mix of Lawry's spinning bowl salad with no spin and table side guacamole you would order at a Mexican restaurant. salad was great. no issues there. next, the waiter handed us lemon sorbet ice cream. this made me chuckle. he said it prepares the pallet for taste. how fancy is that! so after the dip, salad and sorbet the filet arrived and I was very happy with it. it kind of looked like a baseball steak with how big it was, but it was all filet mignon, wrapped with a juicy slice of bacon..can't go wrong. when I cut into this meat I couldn't believe how perfect it was cooked. the outline of the cook compared to the red was flawless. Once I dove in, I just kept going at it non stop until I hit something...a bunch of crab meat! I completely forgot there was crab stuffed into the meat! was like getting a little bonus for eating this delicious steak. after the dinner, your treated to more goodies. a chocolate dipped strawberry with some dipped fruit. then they offer you dessert, but it's not needed. you should be completely satisfied by meals end. look, once I finished what I could, I was left fully satisfied, 10/10, no complaints at all...and I tried to keep this short with this review. all of the staff is ultra friendly and courteous from the hostess to the servers to the runners. no issues at all with them. check out the picture. I don't usually take photos but this dish deserved to be archived with the rest of the photos on here to show what this place has to offer.
