  • Hmm, this place isn't completely terrible, because it offers the general amenities, but doesn't go above and beyond. So don't expect much besides just having a place to sleep. My parents and I made a reservation for 2 double rooms - we didn't realize there were different "tiers" of Best Westerns, so we were very enlightened when we got there. We made the reservation on booking.com, and it gave us a good deal. Upon arriving, the man at the desk gave us 2 key cards, asking my dad for his signatures and ID - general procedure. But once we went up to the room and realized that the two keys were for one room only, I went back down and told the front desk about it. There was a different man who confirmed that the other room wasn't given out to us, becuase it was under my dad's name and not mine - which I find odd, because the reservations were paid by my dad's same card, and we both have the same last name's. But the man told me to get my dad so he can sign more papers and present his ID again. My dad wasn't happy, but I think just wanting to get this over with, he complied without complaint. We stayed there 2 nights, and it was really just for sleeping, as we were out and about during the days. But man, unless you enjoy the constant passing by of cars on the freeway, don't go here if you insist on a good night's sleep. On the second day, after we came back to the hotel, our keys didn't work. A housekeeper passing by told us that this happens often, and that the key machine at the front desk has issues. So we had to go back down after a sweltering long day and have our keys reassigned. They do have friendly staff, though, although while we were there, there was only 1 man at the front desk for most of the day. One of the lights in the room wasn't working, I find it sort of odd, having your curtain open, and seeing other guests walk passed by or smoke on the walkway porch right in front of your room.
