So it starts out with them taking your money right away and assuring you that you're always covered coming in for follow ups and any exams in their office with this initial payment package for Lasik. I paid for the most expensive custom Lasik they offered.
They sure know how to NOT keep their promises. You will not meet the surgeon until right before the procedure when you're already laying in the chair. The surgeon was in such a rush for some reason and he actually bumped my nose on the machine. The surgeon didn't even notice he bumped my nose but the tech noticed. Little did I know but the surgeon had to remove the clamp and then reclamp the eye which left me with a bloodshot ugly looking eye for a month. Now that eye drifts constantly and I have no control of it. No one ever explained what was going on. I should've have followed my gut right then and stopped the procedure. I now have worse vision than before the surgery, now have double vision, have still not received my glasses years later, and am now being told follow up exams is to come out of my pocket after I've already paid for the surgery. They actually insisted I go somewhere else for my follow up exams. What? Jodie the supervisor called me back one time throughout these few years and guaranteed me if another Lasik procedure is too risky, that she will get the glasses made for me. Jodie the supervisor said that the new surgeon is reviewing multiple cases and which people are needing second procedures. What? I was told it's too risky to have another procedure yet they now won't see me for follow ups anymore. What a joke. Jodie the supervisor has still not returned my voicemails and emails. I still have no glasses as Jodie promised and I've now been thrown out on the street to mend for myself in regards to my eyes. Take this from a real patient. Your eyes are too precious to deal with Nationwide Vision Lasik. Don't go there
