We went to Kobe Japanese Steak House to celebrate our daughter's second birthday a few weeks ago. We were seated at a table with another family, who also happened to be celebrating their child's second birthday. First off, I must say that this is a great restaurant for children. The servers are accommodating and the teppan chef is mindful of the children and interactive with them. Taylor was our chef and he was so friendly and fun. Definitely request him if he's working. We requested extra tofu for our daughter, not once, but twice, and they were happy to meet our requests. The food was delicious and plentiful, and none of us left hungry. We had such a great time that we came back two weeks later with my in-laws and the only difference was that Taylor wasn't working that night. The food was still delicious and we definitely look forward to returning another time. If you are bringing a toddler, you might want to use a towel or blanket to have them sitting higher in the high chair so they get a better view of all the teppan chef is doing..
