| - This cafe has a clean, minimalistic design. While it is a small place, there seems to be ample seating for the flow of customers on an average day; there were 4-6 tables, and 2 longer, communal benches at the back.
Today, I tried the matcha latte ($4.25, large), the Bailey's affogato ($5.95), and the vanilla souffle with strawberry sauce ($8.95). The matcha latte was not overly sweet, and had plenty of matcha - not too shabby. The affogato was very, very good; the ice cream was creamy, the espresso was smooth, and the macaron shells (2) that came on the side were both crisp and chewy. The souffle was much bigger than I expected, and delightfully eggy!
While I really liked the affogato, the experience overall is worth 3 stars because of the price; maybe it's because I don't usually frequent dessert cafes, but the prices were a bit higher than I expected. ALSO, to make a drink iced, it costs $1 extra, which makes absolutely NO sense to me; why charge more to serve a customer less of their drink and more water?
