Let me start by saying that the property is very nice, the room was clean and the fitness center was good. Other issues did arise though. When it was time for bed, we found no sheets, blanket or pillow in our room for the sleeper sofa. When calling down to the front desk, I was told that those items were not kept in the room, but were at the front desk. Additionally, there was no offer to bring these items to us since we were never told this when we checked in. I went downstairs to get the items and spoke with the young lady at the desk. She was very polite and did apologize for not asking if the items were needed upon checking in. She went on to tell me that she was THE ONLY hotel employee on duty. This was amazing to me given the size of the hotel and it being Friday night. Later, I found no ice bucket in our room. I called to the desk again and was told that all ice buckets were kept at the front desk but the hotel was "out of them". I had no other choice but to walk through the hotel with a cooking kettle from the room if I wanted ice. It was truly awkward walking though the hotel with a cooking kettle. We ultimately finished our stay and went home the next day. This hotel seems to have the potential to earn nearly 5 stars. But due to the issues that should have been avoided, the 3 stars that I've given was somewhat generous. We go on "staycation" regularly but I'm not sure if we will return to this property
