| - When I initially walked into Adrenaline I was confused. I didn't realise I was in a tattoo shop because of all the cool shwag that is for sale in the main level. They have a great selection of shirts, rings, piercings, and other things to which the tattooed community naturally gravitate.
The staff were very outgoing, friendly and made me feel welcome. And the friendliness was genuine, not the usual plastic shopping mall crap.
Upstairs is where the tattoos take place. There is a waiting area with comfy leather sofas and some mindless action stuff on the big TV there. As a guy who is into mindless action stuff, this is a huge bonus for me.
My artist's name is Joe. He very friendly, clean, professional and funny. I found his work to be outstanding. He has a precocious talent when it comes to blending, contrast, placement and all those other tattoo related buzzwords. I now have found the artist to do my long awaited sleeve. The only downside is his work was so good, my other tattoos look pretty amateurish by comparison. Who knew?
When I was paying for my ink, the owner was kind enough to give me a bottle of homemade wine. I had a choice between red or white and went with red. It was actually very good and was a nice liquid aperitif as a companion to misc bread/cheeses and garlic oil.
I've had tattoos done in 4 countries and this is my first experience in my home and native land. I have no complaints and look forward to coming back for more.
In summary: Outfu**ingstanding.
