  • I finally got a chance to go back here after almost a couple of years. I just am never at this part of the valley much and the times I have been here, it is never in the morning. Well the first time, was fantastic, I loved the creativity, quality, service, and execution of their food. I wanted to give the place a five star, my second one only in this area so far by the way, but I never give a place 5 stars without at least going there twice. The place is a little expensive and I am pretty cheap but it was well worth it. I believed I had the french toast last time, but even though I don't remember the details, I remember it was some of the most original and quality food I have ever had. This time I decided to go with the hangover sandwich which was the first time I had something with Jalapenos here in Arizona that didn't just burn all my taste buds. I could feel it but also able to taste the sweetness of the onions and tangy cheese and saltiness of the bacon. Every where in the valley, they pride themselves of just bringing the heat on like a camp fire, but what really do you get from that except a one dimensional response. People think it is great just because it is ultra spicy beyond belief, but that is the lazy way of cooking which is to toss in some really hot peppers to essentially cover up bad food. The sandwich was great, just wish they had an option for a regular pork instead of turkey sausage which is kind of bland, but maybe they will but I just never asked. Anyways I also had their DD hash, which is a vegetarian dish, and believe me when I say that is the farthest thing about my eating habits. I gulped it up because it was just so well balanced. The dish came with their potatoes which was okay, but I usually don't like larger chunks of potatoes but most people do so I don't hold that against the restaurant, just not my cup of tea. Their coffee is awesome and you know that they even not only gave me a cup to go, but also made it an ice coffee. For the money it was well worth it. I hope to get a chance to try more of their menu and hopefully sooner than 2 years next time . A plus and usually I don't really care about this as much as others, but their service is top notch. Helpful but not bothering you every 2 minutes to get you moving, they don't even bring you the check until you ask for it, plus it helps to come early in the morning, I hate waiting but I am not an idiot who goes right in rush hour and bitch about it either. I really enjoy it and would recommend it to anyone.
