Fusion, a mix between mostly Americanized sushi and Chinese food. This entire menu is all you can eat with no a la carte options. Either get the $25 version of sushi and nigiri or their Jayde specialties- which are the Chinese inspired dishes. If you want the mixture of the two, just pay about $7 more to order from either menu.
I opted for the sushi and nigiri and boy was I disappointed. My first two rolls- Dragon roll and some eel roll, were all made with California roll and then topped with the various fishes based on the description. I asked the waiter if there were any ones not California roll based and the manager was able to get about 6 rolls out of 12 options available. Look, if you like sushi that comes from fast food or the like, you'll do fine here. I was looking for a variety of sushi rolls with a little more refined taste, but apparently the price point should have led me to think California roll is standard. Overload of teriyaki sauce in their rolls, no half orders available, this lends to a more wasteful environment than a tasting of the menu.
This was not a nice celebratory meal, but the ambiance and service were great. 5 stars for the service and Kirk was really awesome.
