| - What a shame that my review is probably going to be the worst review of all these posted on Yelp to date. Where should I begin? Dealing with two different families with a piano move has got to be difficult! however, Jim (pleasant) from this company finally reached out to me and we arranged the move via text and a call. I specifically said I will be at my home through 7:30 AM and then I will be gone for most of the morning. We settled on a time 6:30 AM ish., and then came the move (June 25th). Note - I set my alarm for 5:30 AM to wake up in plenty of time to wash my face wake up have a cup of coffee and answer the door for a set time at 6:30am (or very close to 6:30 AM) My dog started to bark at 5:40 and then I could swear I heard loud banging on my door at 5 freakin 45 bloody AM! couple minutes later it was more banging and door ringing the rapidfire type - apparently in case you didn't hear the first 10 rings I'm going to ring it 20 more times rudely just for extra insurance so you can actually feel like someone is in a hurry and is aggressive right outside your doorstep! By then, at that point I realized it was a piano mover or somebody that I hadn't dealt with because Jim was nice on the phone, so it couldn't have been him. I was angry, apprehensive about opening up that door and wanted my husband and dog around me before I did open the door in case something were to happen with this aggressive stranger at my flippin doorstep! let me remind, this is all happening near and around 6 AM on a Saturday morning - what the heck(actually I wanted to say hell). He said he was Greg. I asked who sent him because I didn't recognize the name and I also asked where the piano is being moved to, he couldn't really give me any answers as he sat on his vehicle seemingly snide. He tried to walk toward me with phone in hand to show me the appointment - my husband quickly shut the door because we were already in a heated conversation with him. we then got on the phone with my relative to confirm that this guy was legit and to tell Jim from that company he needs to know exactly what we're faced with at 6 AM this cannot be the typical manner in which a piano mover arrives at your doorstep to retrieve the piano and to deliver it to another location. In retrospect, I believe that since I am not a paying customer and simply the pick up point, that Greg decided I didn't need to have or feel customer service in any way that the paying customer was his focus - so wrong Max piano. Regardless of the time constraints to pick up a piano and dismantle it by yourself, it does not give anyone the right to bang on somebody's door and ring the doorbell impatiently. so you've made a hundred piano moves, it still does not make it so you cannot learn from experiences like this and correct your issues. DO NOT bang on anyone's door! Its that simple Max Piano. Lastly, I babysat that baby grand with love and attention for almost 3 years I believe, you would think that perhaps your relatives would recognize that care you put into it and like possibly thank you with Oh I dont know like maybe a coffee card or something? I trained my pitbull lab mix puppy to stay clear of that Beautiful piano, and she complied for three long years folks - that's caring and I tuned it for about $130.
