  • We went to CC tonight to celebrate my daughter's birthday. As soon as we got there it was chaos. Hostesses were not very friendly and didn't greet us for several minutes. We were seated at the round tables near the back and it had terrible lighting. Half the table was lit from a single bulb above and the other half was completely dark. Water droplets were also dripping on our table from above. Service was also mediocre. Our server was 'nice' but didn't practice proper server etiquette. When our salads were done, he asked us to pass him our plates instead of moving around the table and doing it himself. When our salads and dinner came, he never came around to ask if we'd like fresh pepper or how our meal was. When it came time for my daughter's 'happy birthday' moment, he simply came by and put the cake in front of her and left. How disappointing!!!! Anyway, it's all gone downhill and I won't go back. So sad, since it used to be one of my favourites.
