| - I went to Katie to get my hair cut for a donation. This was the first thing I told her when I walked into her suite. I emphasized that several times during my visit, but I feel like she really disregarded everything that I said.
Before anything, I asked Katie to tie up my hair and cut ten inches off to be donated. Instead, she suggested that I wash all of my hair because it would dry, so I went along with that. She began to cut my hair before it was tied, so I asked her to tie it. She said she would tie it up later. Uhhhh....okay. I don't know why I assumed that she would neatly bundle it together later on. Anyways, she cuts my hair, but she doesn't cut off ten inch pieces, like I asked. She then picks up strands of hair OFF OF THE GROUND and leaves it on the counter. At the end of my visit, she sloppily wraps a rubber band around the loose strands from the counter and essentially hands me a wet ball of hair.
Hair donations need to be sent in dry and tied in a ponytail. As a hair stylist, I thought she would've known that, or maybe she did but she just didn't care. I can't forgive the fact that I spent 18 months taking care of my hair just so I could toss it out.
