| - This is where my cousins go to receive VIP treatment in the Toronto area. In a billiards hall, you ask? Well, more like in the insanely large VIP room at Master Q. It's situated in the back of the billiards hall, where tons of snooker tables line the premises. The VIP room is so big and furnished with so much suede furniture, it makes me wonder what really goes down in here. Escorts and call girls, perhaps? That would be no surprise to me, which is why I was extra cautionary when planting my butt on those suede seats.
The room is really split into two rooms, one for singing karaoke on the big screen TV, and the other for playing snooker. You can easily fit 50 people in here. The VIP room is also equipped with a private restroom and there's even easy access to the private parking lot for those much-needed smoke breaks.
The waitress who attended to us was quite slow though. She was not very knowledgeable of their snacks menu, nor did she seem capable of handling all the orders we were throwing at her. But most importantly, she was good at keeping the alcohol coming. After dozens and dozens of Heinekens, a couple bottles of red wine, four hours of singing and playing liar's dice, and plenty of fallen soldiers later, we called it a night at 3am on a Sunday night. Evidently, we were the last ones in the place.
I'm not sure what the typical rate is for the VIP room; all I know is that my buzzed self (i.e., appreciative and generous drunk) swiped my credit card for about $330 CAD. Well worth the good times!
