I ordered a router online - entered credit card info & went to the store to pick it up. When I got to the register, the clerk told me that I needed to pay for it ?? Then why did I enter my credit card info online? The Clerk responds, well, you see .. You reserved it & Fry's researches your card to see if you have enough money in your account to pay for the items that you ordered - if you don't have enough money in the account to pay for the items, why do we waste our time pulling the items you ordered? I told the clerk I did not give him authorization to research my credit card, and he said this was Fry's policy - If you have questions, please contact the manager. I got in the car and called the store to talk to the manager, and was on hold over
35 minutes without a human picking up the line. I just want other shoppers to be aware of this.
