  • Find a doctor who actually examines your skin, spends more than one minute in the room with you, and actually gives a care that you're in debilitating pain and can't get your work done. This assessment is based upon several years of experience. Recently, he completely missed that I had a raging staff infection because he failed to look at my skin. Try seeing an allergist if you severe eczema-- or at the very least a dermatologist should do a full skin evaluation to check for infection or pre-cancerous spots-- every patient deserves this. Also, his office manager needs to be educated that it's not ok to talk to one patient about the problems of the patient in the next room-- this is extremely inappropriate and most likely a HIPAA violation.
