I had been bringing my 15 year old dog to this groomer for about a year with no issues. On the last visit he wasn't groomed well - uneven in some spots and basically shaved right down. Big difference from the last time, seemed almost as though the person who did the cut this time didn't have the same level of experience and made mistakes. When we called to discuss our concerns with the manager, her demeanor was odd on the phone and not the level of professionalism we were expecting. She had a list of excuses as to why the dog wasn't cut properly - from his hair being too fine, dog being too old, his hair being too straight and hard to cut. Hard to believe this is the manager of this business who's supposed to provide sensible solutions to problems. This is the same dog who they've been grooming for over a year with no issues so this didn't sit right.
The manager then said that we could bring the dog back to be fixed. We asked "where's the sense in this as the dog has no hair left and there is nothing left that you can cut or fix". She got a bit defensive and repeated the same thing "well if you don't bring your dog back then how can we fix it". On top of this she said that we shouldn't expect a refund as we didn't bring the matter up the very next day but rather by bringing it up 5 days later it was too late. We didn't even ask for a refund but called to provide feedback as we paid money for this service. We will not be going back to this business and will not refer it to friends to family, quite a disappointment.
