Worst lunch ever at Scott's Generations Restaurant on Glendale.
There were six of us. Even though we had reservations which had been confirmed, the restaurant wasn't ready for us and we had a long wait before we were led to a back room and our orders taken. I ordered the French dip, and when it arrived the bottom of the bun was soggy to the point of falling apart, but the plate was dry. Hmmm. I tried all through the meal to get the waiter's, or someone's, anyone's, attention to no avail. The waiter never checked back with us to see if everything was ok (it wasn't) or if we needed anything else (I wanted more water and a new sandwich), but we were ignored until the waiter decided to present the checks. Then it was far too late to order a replacement French dip. I was very hungry and had tried to nibble at the top of the bun; there was no question of dipping it into the au jus as the bottom of the bun was already soaked with something I didn't want to think about. as the bottom of the plate was dry, I still wonder where the sandwich had been before it was served to me.
