Decided to try this place out yesterday morning. Typically it's hard to get a table on a Saturday morning but this place took no time at all. There was hardly anyone there. Which seemed a bit odd.
The woman that sat us was really friendly but someone else became our server. Seemed like he was overwhelmed but that didn't make much sense either because we saw several other employees working so there was enough coverage.
I ordered the chicken fried steak and husband ordered chicken fried chicken. Gravy in the description said there was chunks of sausage but it was just a typical white gravy. I should have ordered hash browns because the red potatoes, although they were well seasoned, some were raw still. I noticed they weren't cut uniform in size and as we know, different sizes means different cook times. So the larger pieces were raw and small ones were cooked.
What I did enjoy was the jam that came with the toast. That was really tasty. Otherwise we probably won't be back. Close to $40 for just ok breakfast and just ok service isn't worth it for me.
