| - I purchased my car at a dealership in Arizona. I have the free oil changes for life and would take my car in when the time for a change was near. They never questioned me or turned me away if I was a few days early or a few miles before the exact 5000 mark. I was also always given a courtesy vehicle to drive while my car was there, even for an oil change. When I moved to Las Vegas I got an oil change in December with no issues. I called to make the most current appointment for an oil change because I had 1000 miles left or 30%. I was told I could not make an appointment for an oil change because it needed to be EXACTLY 5000 miles since the last one OR EXACTLY 6 months to the DAY, OR EXACTLY at 15% life. It was ridiculous the way I was treated on the phone. Also, the service advisor spoke very condescendingly to me on the phone counting the months to me (January, February, March, April, May) as if I was illiterate or incompetent. Finally he stated he would do me a COURTESY of making an appointment for an oil change, but that from now on it needed to be after the EXACT 5000 mile or EXACT 6 months time frame. Moreover, I had repeatedly received flyers in the mail that it was time for my 15k service. My car is at 17k, so I asked what that entailed. I was told by the advisor I should disregard the flyers because it was not necessary on my car. When I asked him if he could print me out a chart of when each service is required and would be covered under the Cadillac maintenance plan, he told me he didn't have access to that and couldn't print me one. He said I just needed to find it myself in the owner manual. All in all, it was not a good experience and I WILL NOT be taking my car there again. I would rather drive down to Phoenix to take my car to the original dealership I purchased it from than to have to deal with the condescending advisors and employees at this location. One of the main reasons I purchased my Cadillac was because of the excellent way I was treated at location I purchased it from.
