  • I walked by Yorkdale and saw that they had these fancy ice cream cones at Nadege. I've had the macarons there before and they are pretty good so thought it'd be worth a try. I got the waffle Ice cream cone with mini macarons and it was an outright disappointment. The ice cream was not creamy at all, I got the twist with vanilla and strawberry, and perhaps because of this lack of creaminess, as it melted it made the waffle cone soggy, which is unfortunate because the cone itself would have been good. McDonald's has far better ice cream texture than this place. $6.50 is also pretty steep, at that price I'd expect quality. The mini macaron topping at $1.50 is kind of neat but it was more of a gimmick that's nice for pictures and it didn't enhance the ice cream much.
