  • I've been twice to this place and probably will not go back even though it is two blocks from my house. First time was actually okay, except I felt the nail technician was "up-selling" the entire time... I only wanted a manicure, and she was trying to sell me on a massage, pedicure, brow waxing, gel manicure... anything. The second time I went with my husband and we both got a manicure. The male technician doing my manicure didn't talk the entire time which was fine, but the female manicurist for my husband was trying to up-sell me on getting the 'gel manicure' because it lasts so much longer. She was pushy but I said no. My husband was asked if he wanted "clear polish or just buff." He said "no polish." He finished 10 minutes before I did. Then when we went to pay, my husband's manicure was $18 and mine was $15. I asked why his was more. And it was because he asked for the "buff." Who knew that buffing nails would be an additional $3?? And he had no polish applied. I was so disgusted that I just paid and left. They need to be a lot more up front about their charges. I was hoping to go to this place for a girls weekend (group of 5) coming up in March, but I'll have to find somewhere else that will treat us right.
