  • What an amazing find off The Strip! I can't believe I have not been here before. I was looking for a unique dining experience for a special birthday and Capo's delivered. From the outside it may look unassuming and in a strip mall across the street from a bunch of dealerships. Inside though, is a speak easy joint reminiscent of the mob days in Vegas. Secret passwords, secret doors, and a guy with a heavy Italian accent-I love it! You walk in and it is dark, but like intimate and cozy kind of dark. Fresh lobster tank in the front after the secret door when you walk in, bar with a full staff making drinks to the right, and escorted to my table by a wonderful gentleman who was professional and was a no frills kind of guy. Was very efficient in getting the groups and couples coming in for dinner right away. We sat in a cozy black velvet booth and there was a piano man singing Dean Martin's, "Luck Be a Lady". Wonderful singing. He said hello to the crowd and got to my table and dedicated a song once he found out it was for a birthday. Sang "Unforgettable". Classy. The servers were absolutely friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt. Ordered the cheese bread and calamari for appetizers. The cheese bread comes in 4 or 8 pieces. Server recommended the 8 pieces, so we went for it. The cheese bread comes out piping hot with a thick layer of melty cheese on a well seasoned thick bread. Served with a side of marinara sauce. So good! The calamari was tender, lightly breaded and served with lemon slices and a red dipping sauce. Not greasy and really tasty. For the main entree, ordered the spaghetti and meatball and Fettecini Alfredo with chicken. The chicken costs extra, but was worth it. It was grilled and was a good size in proportion to the dish itself. I also had the Faggoli soup which was light and tasty. Portions are great. Sharable really, but it's so good you may not to or you could take the rest to go. You get one very big meatball for the spaghetti dish and it was vey moist, flavorful, and delicious. The fettuccine Alfredo with chicken was rich, creamy, and buttery. Went well with the glass of wine. There was even a magician that performed some magic at our table too! Was very talented and engaging. Heard about a magician at the restaurant, but did not believe it. So we got a dinner and a show-loved it! Overall, this place is a hit! Service is exceptional, food is solid Italian classic, and the whole experience is just outstanding. Highly recommend!
