  • Today was my first time at Smelly Dog. I had very high expectations because of friends that take their pups here. I love that this place is close to home and have good prices. Staff was friendly and helped me find the things that I have been looking for. I let the staff know it was my first time bringing my boxer, that I was nervous and I wasn't sure how she was going to be around other dogs in the store. They took her back and trimmed her nails while I talked to an employee and paid for her treatment. While my dog came back out I asked how she did and they told me that she must've done pretty good since it only took about 5 minutes. Unfortunately, when we got home and I had a chance to look at the work they had done I was very unhappy. Her nails were jagged, broken and not smoothed out. I don't think my dog and I will be back again.
