| - I've been going to Canada's Wonderland for the last 16 years and have always had a great time, but now that I'm an adult and have visited with young kids, I'm starting to think my most recent trip (August 2016) will mostly likely be my last.
Don't get me wrong - this is a fantastic attraction that offers a variety of rides, games and activities for all ages, however the food service and line ups are like no other. The amusement park itself would get a five-star review, but based on the wait times in line for something as simple as drink refill, the service was terrible.
I understand during the summer months the park is at an extremely high volume and line ups are to be expected. However, every single food vendor and place we went to they were extremely under staffed and people were stuck waiting anywhere from 20-60 minutes for something as simple as an order or fries. From the ice cream stand, to drink refills, Starbucks and the diner, the staff was slow, uninterested in making any of the customer's experience memorable in a positive way and there were far too little staff working to keep up with the crowds - I'm talking 1-2 employees working prepping food and taking orders for a line up of at least 30 people.
The intention of this review is to express my dissatisfaction with the food and drink service, especially when guests are expected to pay inflated prices to begin with. More staff that are more enthusiastic and efficient would help not only make more money for the park, but keep customers happy.
