  • I like the Hofbrauhaus a lot. There aren't that many of them in the world, so we're lucky to have one! That being said, we only visit once or twice a year, usually in the fall as we're fans of their Oktoberfest brew. The pretzels are great, and my husband had the Jagerschnitzel which he said was amazing. I honestly don't know how these people expect you to eat a meal after a half liter of beer and two soft pretzels, so I ordered a side of beer cheese spaetzle for dinner. It's SO GOOD! I definitely recommend sitting in the biergarden if it's nice out--you don't have to wait, it's self seating, the service is fast and they have a full bar down there as well. There are twinkly lights strung up between the trees, plenty of bench seating, and you get a view of the river. Not to mention you don't have to do the chicken dance down there. :)
