I was assured by this location the insurance on my item would be honored if damaged during shipping. Had the store said, "there's no guarantee" or "we have to package it ourselves" (as the store later told me) or "2 inches of padding will be required" (as the store also told me AFTER it was damaged) then I wouldn't have shipped the item. I thoroughly researched how to properly package my item, spent over 2 hours doing so and in the end, I paid $70 to have my item destroyed and another $300 to have it "fixed" as best as possible. Even better, I was told it was my fault it happened. There was no responsibility taken for the assurances made when I gave the store my business. The response I received from UPS in the aftermath was even worse than the shipping experience. The insurance is a total scam, you will be lied to and if anything goes wrong, you will be blamed.
