| - I might have been able to rate them higher if they had actually serviced my washer ... but that never happened.
I was referred to them by my usual provider (my washer is a weird model, and they have done great work on it for years, but it's finally doing something they can't diagnose). They refer me to A & R. It's Saturday, they don't work weekends, no problem, I leave a voicemail. By just before noon Monday, I haven't heard back. Call them back. Very bitter-sounding woman picks up. When I identify myself, her sarcastic answer is, "Oh YEAH, I was just GETTING to that, but NOW I can cross it off my list." I didn't have the serial number because I was ... on my way in to work, not home now. That seems to annoy her personally. Long story short, technician shows up next morning. Nice guy, but stumped by my model of machine because he's never worked on it before. THE WHOLE PURPOSE OF MY CALLING THEM WAS BECAUSE THEY WERE REFERRED TO ME AS 'EXPERTS' ON MY MODEL. He calls his boss (or Little Miss Bitter) and there's some back and forth. At this point, I tell him not to worry about sending out anyone else from his company, because it's obvious to me at this point these guys are a $***show. He leaves. 5 minutes later, Little Miss Bitter calls back (sounding kind of nervous) telling me someone else will be out. Yeah, no thanks. Avoid the bad attitude and incompetence and go elsewhere.
