I live at Twain and Fort Apache which is the next intersection away from this facility. I was concerned about catching norovirus since I was NOT feeling well. I had blood work taken and other testing and it was an okay experience other than their "best technician" having to poke my hand twice and still no vein. Someone finally came in with better patience and used a butterfly needle in my other (left hand).
While I'm trying to focus on something other than being dizzy. All I could was the nurse talking about her personal life and how this gentleman had posted on Facebook for everyone to see yadda yadda. Personally, I don't think I would be talking about this sort of thing at the top of my lungs while sick people are resting! A baby was stung by a scorpion and I'm guessing I wasn't the only person annoyed, someone hushed the nurse down the hall but she's still chuckling up a storm. very unprofessional in my opinion.
called back for my results today being Friday and being put on hold for a few minutes. This person very snarky attitude lets me know, "if we don't call you back that's a good thing ". I told her I took a sip out of my boyfriend's water bottle and I wanted to make sure my saliva want contagious. Then she said that had nothing to do with it. Well of course, but some diseases can be spread by saliva don't have to laugh in my face. I found this very uncompassionate towards me. I'm a cautious person by nature just trying to do the right thing. I won't be back if I under the weather ever again.
