| - I frequented our local Patel Bros in Michigan nearly once a week. I made a special trip to visit this store, because I was out of a lot of staples. I had high hopes, but I didn't have a great experience.
I was in on a Saturday, so I expected the store to be busy. I don't mind being one of many shoppers in a store, but it was particularly difficult to navigate the store that day. There were huge stock carts left all over in the aisles. There must have been 20 carts out and various employees stocking items. I understand the store needs to be stocked, but it would be much more customer friendly to only have a few carts in the aisles at a time and to place those carts off to the side, not in the middle of the aisles.
Unfortunately, I had the same experience as other reviewers regarding communication with the staff. The workers blocking the aisles made no attempt to move as I was trying to get through, and this was happening to all of the customers. When I finally got my items, I went to the checkout. The lady did not greet me, even after I said hello to her. A young teenager packed my groceries in bags, and he is the only worker in the store who uttered a word to me. The parking lot was a bit of a disaster, and when I returned to my SUV, it had a cart pushed against it. Luckily it wasn't scratched.
I think I will look for another Indian grocer.
