Right next to the Consol Center, this hotel would be a great place for hockey fans who want easy access. Nothing else is walkable from this hotel. At least parking is available for the car you'll have to have staying here.
To their credit, the hotel has a local shuttle for close-in attractions. Call to arrange. A big plus for a location that not otherwise walkable anywhere.
One person only working floor of restaurant. Served with a smile, but there is far too much work for her to do. It took an hour to get our breakfast.
Some tables just gave up and left. Some nights the restaurant was empty.
The pool was too cold, and the hot tub too hot. Management needs to keep an eye on this.
At check in, the desk clerk must have been new. He couldn't find my reservation. Fortunately there was someone who helped him out.
Room was nice and well appointed contemporary decor. Decent lighting. Comfortable bed and quiet. If an hotel experience was only about the room, I would have scored the Cambria better.
I'd give the Hotel 3 stars, but the restaurant just one.
