Cute little bakery nestled in downtown Middleton. Everything is fresh fresh fresh. The cinnamon roll cupcake is absurdly delicious. Take it home and heat in the microwave for a few seconds. Trust me on this-you won't be disappointed. I'm by no means a gluten-free or vegan person but felt compelled to try one of their offerings (there are many!). They looked to good to be true. I opted for the cookie woopie. And wow, it was better than most cookie sandwiches I've ever had. You can detect a hint of coconut which is, my guess, due to the coconut oil used. It's by no means overwhelming but noticeable after a few bites. I've been back to Bloom just for one of those treats!
On an early morning visit today, I decided to try the fabulously reviewed Wisconsin biscuit sandwich. It's prepared to order and does take a few minutes as others have suggested but not a crazy long wait or anything. And well worth the wait! The sandwich is huge. You get your $7 worth. Not to mention the bacon was amazing (and I'm a picky bacon eater) and the biscuit was excellent. It also has a yummy jam with a subtle spicy kick to it. I'm soooooo full. I don't even really like breakfast (aside from bacon) and that sandwich could have just made a believer out of me.
Of note, they do offer a vegan/gluten-free biscuit option. Goodies at that bad boy changes with the season so you have to ask about the current offerings.
