If I had spent 90 minutes in this waiting room before I visited the Mississauga location, I might have given this one 4 stars. Maybe. Too bad for this LASIK location.
Pros:
- nice orange paint - it's a bit more human than the neutral walls at the other place
- Free coffee and snacks
- same comfy leather couches as mississauga location
- dimly lit section for those recovering from surgery
Cons:
- Busy! Lots of couch sharing going on
- Sounds busy - it's in the Exchange Tower, so all the echoey noise of that building bounces into the LASIK waiting room - makes the atmosphere a bit stressful
- No washroom - you need to leave LASIK, so into the Exchange building, down the escalator, around the corner and through the food court to pee. I have to pee often. I was annoyed.
- No noticeable music playing (possibly drowned out by all the ambient noise)
- Stupid cp24 on tv - it's as if they tried to find a collection of things that would keep folks on alert and reduce any chance of relaxation in the waiting area.
Balls, I say.
However, the real point of the visit was to check my fella's complicated eyes, and that part was friendly and thorough.
