I visited this dentist because of an emergency. I had a crown that popped off when I was eating something chewy. I don't have insurance so I knew I was going to have to pay out of pocket. I called around to several different dentists to see if I could get in that day. This dentist was able to get me in which I was so thankful for. It was 4:30 when I called and they said they would wait for me. I rushed up there and got right in. I was the only one in the office so the dentist saw me right away. He looked at the tooth and explained that he could re-cement it on but that it wasn't a guarantee that it would stay on. At first, I was seriously thinking about just having the tooth pulled but he talked to me about it and explained why that wasn't such a good idea. I was glad he didn't let me go through with that. He did say that I would eventually need a root canal and a new crown but that just isn't an option for me at this time since it would all be cash pay. He agreed to glue the crown on but charged me $120 to do it. I thought that was a little steep but I was desperate. My husband just lost his job (and insurance) so $120 is a lot of money at this time. I talked to my friend who works for a dentist in another state and she was shocked that he charged $120 to just glue it back on. Oh well, it is what it is. I needed the tooth put back on and was desperate. the dentist was nice and it was painless minus some sensitivity which he explained would happen. The hygienist was nice as well. The office was clean and up to date. I liked that he took pictures of my tooth and showed them to me on the big tv while he explained what what wrong. So minus the steep price tag, I'm happy with the service he provided.
