I basically came in to get away from the rain. I'm not a fan of cold or wet. Ice cream in the cold is not particularly appealing for me, but I needed a place to hide, and this was on my way, so in I went. There were no other customers when I walked in, so that was rather nice. I sat at a big table in the back all by my lonesome after getting my ice cream and read my book. It was lovely.
I got a scoop of what I believe was black cherry cheesecake after trying a few others. I didn't know it came with whipped cream and a mini Oreo. That was rather nice. Oh. It was a legit Oreo.
There were two girls serving at the time, and while I was paying, one of them said something about there being a couple outside on the bench in the rain possibly canoodling. I was rather chuffed because I've never heard the word "canoodle" spoken aloud. I've only read it in novels. It was rather refreshing.
The ice cream was fine, although towards the end, it was cloyingly sweet. It probably has more to do with my lack of sweet tooth than anything though.
Oh. This place has an arcade room in the back if you're into that kind of thing. Cute place. Kids would love it.
