This newest business on Main Street is just adorable with their savvy social media marketing campaign before opening (today) and their own sense of style.
The bakery menu includes bread, scones, muffins, cookies and cinnamon buns. Drinks include locally (Ontario and Stouffville) roasted (brewed) coffee, tea and Station Cold Brew (yay!).
Prices are a little on the high side. Two coffee, a muffin and a scone comes up to almost $12. Two cinnamon buns on my second visit of the day was $9 and change. Taste wise, they're good. Everything is baked fresh. I liked my medium-roast coffee :)
Inside the shop, it's just flooded with natural light. The two large windows that's almost their entire front wall lets in the sun. It makes you want to just sit in their armchairs or tables by the window and soak it in. My favourite place is the bar that overlooks Main Street. It's shaded so you don't have the sun in your face; it's perfect for people watching! I also love their 'distressed wood and antique' style.
The people that work there are friendly but that's Stouffville for you ;)
This is a great place to have a sweet bite and chill. Next time someone wants to have a coffee and a meeting with me, I'll say no to Panera Bread and say come to Main St Bakehouse instead!
