  • I love Dutch Dreams. It focuses on classic flavours like Pralines and Cream or Mint Chocolate Chip and has been around forever. I used to live in the neighbourhood and, when the line wasn't too long, pop in to get my favourite, a waffle bowl with chocolate fudge. And the fudge is actually fudge and not crappy chocolate syrup, it's thick and delicious. The portions are huge. You can easily split the waffle bowl between two people. I absolutely love that every ice cream, whether it be waffle bowl or simple sugar cone, gets the whip cream and fruit topping treatment. They also have these amazing fancy cones with smarties and whatnot stuck to them. Delicious and looks amazing. I also really like the eclectic decor. The new location is a bit neater and less chaotic than the old but manages to keep the charm. Everywhere you look there is something to see. Everywhere! They also sell these awesome Dutch waffle things, don't know what they're called, but they're essentially a small, flat waffle with caramel sandwiched in the middle.
