  • The good old Skydome, now known as the Rogers Center. What can I say, this used to be the best stadium around when I was a kid. Everyone talked about it, the design was new and interesting and the Jays were actually winning back then! The stadium even had a turtle mascot named domer. Remember domer!?! Now the stadium is old, very old. The place is almost vintage looking and the seating and interior elements are almost falling apart. Watching a Jays game now seems almost like punishment with how hot and greasy the stadium gets inside if the dome is open or closed. I'm often greeted to bird crap all over my seats as I enter my section and the mens restrooms make me hold it in until the end of the game. The food concession stands also seem identical to those of the 90's. The food is still old, bland and overpriced, but what do you expect for sporting events. Overall this place needs a refresher and maybe some serious interior and exterior renovations to get it on par with other stadiums around North America. I'll always be back for Jays bobble head days though!
