In a town that has world class thin crust pizza, I was excited to try what I am told is one of the great authentic Chicago deep dish places. I don't eat pizza all that often, so it needs to be special if I'm going to indulge. Malnati's does not make the cut. It was fine, tasty enough. But not even close to being in the same league as Pizzeria Bianco or Cibo, or even the modest Pino's. And there's the long wait. I'll let others wait. I'll spend my time and money on better pies.
