I took my Rottweiler Lola here last night thinking she broke her jaw while swimming and running around the pool last night. Her face was so swollen and droopy, her eyes were blood red and her jaw was locked. As soon as I walked in we were greeted and told upfront that the visit was 100 plus whatever else she needed. They said don't worry, it could just be an allergic reaction and took us right back. Turned out Lola was stung by a bee and had a severe allergic reaction. Everyone was so caring, kind and friendly. I absolutely loved the doctor, the nurse and the receptionist. The doctor came in to let us know how she was going to treat Lola. She came back to tell us they would observe her for 30 minutes to make sure there is no reaction to the shots of medicine and the nurse came in half way thru to give us an update. Even when we were discharged, the nurse took the time to go over all the after care procedures again that the doctor had explained. The emergency office exam was $100.00 and only $26.00 for two shots of meds. Not bad at all considering it's after hours! If they did well checks and shots, I would spend the money to bring Lola here rather that our own vet clinic. Through our mishap, it was still a Great experience and seeing how much VECC cared about our baby was amazing!!
