Visited for happy hour after work with a friend. I was really excited to finally get into this place after a few failed attempts on super busy weekend nights (no biggie, left because crowds and waits aren't for me, but a younger me might have been fine with it.) The drinks were fine, but didn't really live up to the hype for me. Definitely buzzed after two drinks, so I'll give them that! My friend and I were a bit disappointed by the menu. We were expecting tacos or nachos for some reason, maybe that was an older menu. My friend liked her sliders. The meatballs weren't up to my standards flavor wise and were a bit over done, but I was satisfied by the portion and they were certainly healthier than a big plate of nachos. I expect a place with a small menu to really nail it on the items they serve, but that wasn't the case. The service wasn't bad by any means; the bartender offered drink recommendations and was attentive. On the other hand, though, I kind of expect WOW service at a specialty place like this, but instead I felt like the bartender thought I was a nuisance and not cool enough to be there. I wouldn't revisit or recommend to a friend visiting from out of town.
