Continuing to visit the same good restaurants time and time again can get a little boring. So I am trying to find different places to go, unfortunately I will not be going back to Osteria. I should have known better when upon our arrival we were the first people other than the employees at 6pm. A total of three tables had reservation signs, another two top and one four top. All during dinner, no one, no one came in to eat dinner. We ordered the mussels to start. They were small and had a very fishy taste to them. A couple of them were closed, meaning they are dead. Overall they were some of the smallest mussels I ever ate. My wife orders lobster ravioli and I ordered the house pappardelle. The house made pasta was too thick, undercooked, and never married with the sauce like a good pasta dish should be. Service was okay, though I did observe our server eating behind the counter. The last dish my wife and I shared was shrimp and scallops which came in a small casserole dish. The scallops and shrimp dish was okay, beside being made with cheap small seafood. Overall a very disappointing experience.
