Went to Saturday lunch today.
The positive. It's a beautiful spot. Lots of ambiance and beautifully landscaped. Also the piano music was very nice.
The negative. The sandwiches and soup were not very good. One of my guests ordered a Reuben. It was cold, not even heated through. We sent it back. The next Reuben was hot, but the pretzel it was served on was hard and dry. The Reuben had a lot of orange French dressing on it. I thought at first it was melted Velveeta. French dressing on a Reuben is a first. I've never seen that before. My hamburger was so so.
In general, it looked like more money was spent on landscaping than on quality kitchen staff. Suggest having coffee here perhaps and soaking up the ambiance and eating elsewhere.
