  • The overall concept of this place is fun. You text the number, they text you back, and you get shown into a small little speakeasy with a vibrant piano player taking requests. When we were there, there was a couple that were drunk and super loud. So obviously they don't enforce their "speak easy" rule too well. I admit, it ruined the mood and as I was waiting for my $15 drink, which I thought seemed like a lot for one drink, I was having a less than amazing time. It felt like a dueling piano bar. But that couple left and we got our drinks and the mood changed. The piano player made a point of apologizing on behalf of the bar for the loud couple and made a few little jokes to lighten the mood. The drinks really were the epitome of "mixology". They are the "burn the orange peel" sort of drinks that were really drink art and the bartender was super nice and helpful. I'm local, so would I visit again? Perhaps to show a tourist friend a fun little place. The drinks were a bit too expensive, although amazing, to frequent it too often. But overall it was a pleasant place to visit.
