D&C could really use the advice of an expert chef to re-vitalize a tired menu. My New York strip was ok, but not great. For $45 I expected to be blown away, but wasn't. The Caesar salad was good, but nothing spectacular. Baked potato - well, what else could they do? So the steak - it was too thick to cook properly. To get the inside to a medium, the outside was overdone, crunchy...."Char" is not appetizing. Staff was great, as was the atmosphere. But they really need to look at a 40-50 year old menu and bring it up to date. There are better choices in the area if you're looking for a steak.
