You can totally just walk by this place and not realize it's there. It's a bit like hidden in plain view. You'd be doing a disservice to miss it on purpose.
You can either sit outside or venture inside. The inside seemed huge compared to how small the place looks on the outside. Bartenders were very nice and helped us get a flight of four of their beers.
Downtown Brown Ale - this brew tasted really dark, more like chocolate notes. It's carbonated on the front end as well. It was way too sweet for me but it was very interesting.
Van Damme Blonde Ale - this wasn't bad. IT had some sweetness in there, like caramel or candy. It was easy to drink.
More Cal-Bel Belgian IPA - this one was confusing as I didn't get a big hit of any flavor. Just the only thing that popped through was the fizzy-ness of the beer. Wasn't a huge fan.
El Heffe Jalapeno Wheat - For me, this was disgusting. It was like drinking a jalapeno that fell into some dirt. Does taste like a salsa verde chip at the end of it. Now, my girlfriend LOVED this beer. She was in love with El Heffe, and I couldn't hate it more.
The great thing about this place was that all the beers were interesting. It was great just tasting the beers and talking about them. When you don't want to talk about beers, there's TVs in there as well and there's plenty of space. This is definitely worth checking out.
