I'm not really sure where the name fits in, but New Zealand Cafe has great Asian food. I admit, when we pulled up I struggled to put aside my preconceived notions about strip mall restaurants. The Yelp reviews looked pretty decent and my companions swore it was safe. I didn't get any sushi, but the sushi my companions ordered looked good (and it came out on a cool wooden boat!) I ordered the Queenstown's chicken entree which came with 2 fried shrimp, brown rice, 2 crab Rangoon patties. All that food for around 6 bucks! Great value! The chicken was crispy and battered then covered in sweet & sour sauce. It was really good. We were seated at a 4 person high-top as we arrived. The restaurant was kind of small, so I imagine it gets crowded quickly. Service was good, lunch was pretty cheap all around a great experience.
